Taylor Swift’s new album The Tortured Poets Department has nearly landed so what time will it be ready?

The countdown begins as fans of the Karma singer are bursting with excitement at the prospect of her first album in two years, following the successful Midnights.

The Tortured Poets Department is the first Swift album where she hasn’t released a single ahead of its release date, making it even more mysterious and exciting for Swifties everywhere.

She previously announced, however, that there would be 17 new songs on the album, including collaborations with Post Malone and Florence + The Machine.

It is also expected to focus on her break-up from actor Joe Alwyn, 33, who she dated for six years before their split in March last year.

Taylor Swift’s upcoming album is scheduled to be released on Friday, April 19 so the wait is almost over.

Although, the exact time the songs are going to drop does depend on where you are geographically due to the various time zones.

Here is exactly when The Tortured Poets Department album will be ready to listen to, wherever fans live around the world:

It was during one of her Eras Tour concerts that Swift shared the importance of making music for her.

She said on stage: “It sort of reminded me of why songwriting is something that actually gets me through life and I’ve never had an album where I’ve needed songwriting more than I needed it on Tortured Poets.”

While the album is believed to delve into her long-term romance with Alwyn, the 34-year-old The Style singer has found new love with Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce.

The NFL star confirmed that he has already listened to some of the album and labelled it “unbelievable”.

He added: “I can’t wait for her to shake up the world when it finally drops.”
